Javelin joins the Coalition for Secure AI.

At Javelin, we’re dedicated to enabling organizations to deliver AI outcomes safely, at scale, and without compromise. Today, we’re proud to announce that Javelin has joined the Coalition for Secure AI (CoSAI) as a sponsoring member of the OASIS Open Project.

CoSAI brings together technology providers, security leaders, and researchers to create open standards, shared best practices, and collective safeguards for AI adoption. Its work focuses on ensuring that enterprises can innovate confidently while meeting the highest standards for security, compliance, and ethical responsibility.

The coalition is focused on four main areas:

  • Software supply chain security for AI systems: Enhancing composition and provenance tracking to secure AI applications.
  • Preparing defenders for a changing cybersecurity landscape: Addressing investments and integration challenges in AI and classical systems.
  • AI security governance: Developing best practices and risk assessment frameworks for AI security.
  • Secure design patterns for agentic systems: Researching and developing updates to threat models, design patterns, impacts to secure infrastructure design, and other needs.

This milestone highlights Javelin’s leadership in advancing AI security and governance at a time when enterprises need it most.

Why We Joined CoSAI

Enterprises are adopting AI at an unprecedented pace. Whether boosting productivity, automating processes, or developing new business models, AI is essential to keeping your organization competitive. However, with this opportunity comes the risk of security, compliance, and governance gaps that can expose sensitive data, create vulnerabilities, and erode trust.

CoSAI addresses these challenges with open standards and frameworks that ensure AI is deployed safely and responsibly. By joining as a sponsor, Javelin contributes our expertise in AI workload security, controls, and compliance to help set the guardrails for enterprise AI adoption.

“At Javelin, our mission is to empower enterprises to scale AI adoption with confidence, unlocking its full potential without compromising security,” says Sharath Rajasekar, CEO of Javelin. “Joining CoSAI affirms our belief that security and innovation are inextricably linked, enabling organizations to adopt AI more quickly, effectively, and without compromise. We look forward to collaborating with the coalition, sharing our expertise, and shaping the future of secure AI together.”

Javelin’s CEO, Sharath Rajasekar, will join the Project Governing Board (PGB) as a voting member, helping provide strategic direction and advancing the coalition’s mission.

This milestone underscores Javelin’s commitment to collaborating with industry leaders to promote the adoption of secure, responsible AI and ensure that our customers’ investments are safeguarded for the future.
